Christmas in Nashville was amazing this year. Seriously. The family and I went to a Christmas Eve service, and on the way there my sister Dana told me there was a slight chance of snow on Christmas Day. Sure enough, around 10pm the night before Christmas, it started snowing outside the window to my backyard.
After watching a movie or two, there was a decent amount of snow on the ground, so around 1am my brothers and I went out and had a streetlight snowball fight, probably the first since we lived in northern Virginia. And so the next morning, I got just what I’d been wishing for all month: a White Christmas.
Sometimes there’s nothing more perfect than a cliché.
